The St. Anne Catholic School PTO is dedicated to the purpose of supporting the education and the educational experience of the children at St. Anne Catholic School. To fulfill this purpose, the organization shall:

  • Raise and expend funds to enhance and improve the educational quality of St. Anne Catholic School, including, but not limited to, financial support to classroom teachers, purchase of books and materials, procurement of educational assemblies and support of after-school enrichment programs.
  • Sponsor projects and events for the benefit of St. Anne Catholic School students and/or the parent-teacher relationship.
  • Strive to achieve a close working relationship between teachers, parents and community in order that parents, administrators and teachers cooperate intelligently in the education of the students.
  • Encourage a positive, supportive atmosphere to enhance students’ educational and extracurricular experiences.
  • Support the purchase of/or the administration of projects that enhance the safety and welfare of the children and the school.
  • Provide volunteer opportunities that encourage and support parental involvement in the community and their child's education.

Meetings
The PTO holds closed meetings once per month with the school administration.  Open meetings are held once per semester in the gym and all parents and faculty are encouraged to attend.

Activities
The PTO is currently responsible for a variety of activities and events.  At a minimum, this will include coordinating room parents/guardians and other volunteer participation, and hosting teacher appreciation events.  The PTO historically has sponsored a number of additional events.
The PTO Board is required to submit a program of planned activities and budget by February 1 for the following school year.
